This project involve converting a historically recognize building into the reception hall for weddings and corporate functions. The owner wanted an exposed ceiling to highlight the natural cement ceiling. The challenge was to “hide” the huge 64x18 supply duct in the exposed ceiling. We ended up enclosing the ductwork in a wooden decorative chase and used the chase as the return duct. The chase became part of the accent for the space and blended in superbly.
